Ugly pale nut brown pour with a tiny beige head. Taste is bland, cardboard and caramel, touch of wonderbread in the aftertaste. Light, dirty bitterness. Feel is is crisp and watery. Kinda nasty. gam (1116), brisbane, Australia

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 3, 2008 Not a bad beer but nothing to really distinguish it. Corono and Negra Modello still seem to be the best of the Mexican’s to me. IThis is a little more hoppy then the regular but not quite as flavorful. It’s too weak. Maybe it would be better with a lime. Still decent. Ober (1226), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 3, 2008 I was for 2 weeks on a holiday in Mexico. I taste several local beers. First of all I’ll give a general personal opinion. All the beers were served to cold. There was no, or almost no foam. If you ordered a beer, you always have to ask for a glass, which is also very cold. Always there was a lemon in the bottle. If you like it and put the lemon in your beer, than every beer would taste almost the same, because of the strong taste of a fresh lemon. The temperature in Mexico makes it understandably to serve cold beer. But you loose the real taste of the beer.
A clear amber colored beer, with a small beige head. This disappears quickly. It has an aroma of yeast. The taste has some caramel and malts. Not a bad beer at all. gonzo46and2 (108), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Not a bad beer but not a good one...There is flavor but there could be more, a little bitter. It’s not bad, but i don’t think I’ll be buying anymore 6 packs of this. DragonsHead (137), Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 2, 2008 This is the better of the mexican beer selection, but it still sux. I don’t know why people in a warm climate wouldn’t brew ales intead, because refridgeration must cost a fortune there.
