Bottle. Vague grass and sweet corn, a touch vegetal in the nose, very weak grainy malt base. Ugly pale nut brown pour with a tiny beige head. Taste is bland, cardboard and caramel, touch of wonderbread in the aftertaste. Light, dirty bitterness. Feel is is crisp and watery. Kinda nasty.

Good carbonation in a slightly dark amber pour, not much head or cover.aroma very hoppy, malt, metallic.Flavour is it toffee or metallic, bitter, for a dark beer it has a strange taste. There is a green hop taste as well, definately a metallic taste, finish bitter, metallic not good.

I love this beer with or without limes. It is a smooth beer and I think it tastes better out of the tap than bottle.

Not a bad beer but nothing to really distinguish it. Corono and Negra Modello still seem to be the best of the Mexican’s to me. IThis is a little more hoppy then the regular but not quite as flavorful. It’s too weak. Maybe it would be better with a lime. Still decent.

I was for 2 weeks on a holiday in Mexico. I taste several local beers. First of all I’ll give a general personal opinion. All the beers were served to cold. There was no, or almost no foam. If you ordered a beer, you always have to ask for a glass, which is also very cold. Always there was a lemon in the bottle. If you like it and put the lemon in your beer, than every beer would taste almost the same, because of the strong taste of a fresh lemon. The temperature in Mexico makes it understandably to serve cold beer. But you loose the real taste of the beer. A clear amber colored beer, with a small beige head. This disappears quickly. It has an aroma of yeast. The taste has some caramel and malts. Not a bad beer at all.

Better than other mexican lagers I’ve had but that’s not saying much. Good backyard beer for the price. Decent taste but nothing special.

Not a bad beer but not a good one...There is flavor but there could be more, a little bitter. It’s not bad, but i don’t think I’ll be buying anymore 6 packs of this.

This is the better of the mexican beer selection, but it still sux. I don’t know why people in a warm climate wouldn’t brew ales intead, because refridgeration must cost a fortune there.
