Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet malt aroma, caramel mostly. Medium body. Flavor is lightly sweet with caramel and candied sugar. Much better than I expected.

Wow, how have i not already rated this!? Slight malt, but still typical mexican macro lager aroma, and flavour. No hops to speak of, i guess it might be good mowing the lawn and really cold. meh...........

12 oz Bottle. Darker than I remember, with much more aroma than a typical cervesa. Light body, with a richer malt flavor than I expected. It finishes with a slight off taste, typical of Mexican beers.

12oz. bottle. Pours clear amber with a 1.5 finger off white head that dissapated rather quickly and no lacing. Light aromas of brown sugar, corn, and dough. Taste is light as well with a slight metalic twing. Mouth feel is light and watery, but good carbonation. A refreshing warm weather beer, but not much going on with it.

On tap in a pint glass. Poured deep red with a small but sustaining head. Not much in the smell - a bit of caramel and some bread from the malts. Same with the flavors - just not much here. Surprisingl nice mouthfeel, though - very smooth and nicely carbonated. Sure beats the MGD that was the alternative.

This is a nice tasty amber lager that pours a deep red colour- plenty of flavor bursting out of this brew. Head is large, off white and aromatic. Mouthfeel is creamy, sweet and nutty. Taste is very pleasent, lots of dark fruit and milkchocolate in the flavor.

Pours a nice clear caramel color with white head. The aroma has a quite unique malt profile- some caramel, some burnt malts, some chocolate, some corn adjunct. It’s not as though the aroma is good or even all that prevalent in this beer, but it’s the best aspect of this one. Flavor of corn, some very subdued malts, some brown sugar, a little bit of roast, maybe a little honey, some yeast. Its really an effort to taste this beer though. Really watery. You drink it too fast and you just taste sweet water. Active carbonation. Better than I expected though.
