Draught at restaurant. Poured amber with fast disappearing head. Faint aroma, malt, sort of sweet. Smooth sweetish body, good off set for spicy Mexican food. Light faint finish. Better than most macro lagers, and quite good for a Mexican beer.

Bottle. Light golden sort of amberish color, thin head. Light mettalic tinged sweet scent. Plain tasting some malt sweetness and a light effervescent feel.

The beer that Cheech tries to order in Still Smokin’. He knows what hes talking about. Considering its a Mexican beer its pretty good but considering its a beer its just ok.

If you’re in Mexico I would stick with the Dos Equis Lager and a Lime, but there’s certainly nothing wrong with this beer. It’s very easy to drink 10 of them on the beach if your not careful. Because of the limited selected when in Mexico, this isn’t a bad choice, but if your anywhere else opt for something different. There’s nothing special about the taste, color, or smell. It’s very simple and very watery.

Draft pour in a goblet. Very little head and carbonation. Could not get much of an aroma. What was there was malty. Sweet bread-like flavor. Felt really thin.Good to wash down the fajitas or as a session.

low marks for low alcohol, but this beer looked better then it tasted. Though it wasn’t that bad at all. I could drink a few of these.

2nd favorite beer to come out of Mexico, thats not saying much. Mild hop aroma, some maltyness as well, slightly bitter.
