Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Smooth drinkable, reddish and nice finish no after taste don’t ruin it with a lime...

Rated while drinking: Amber, nutmeg color with a transparent white head. Aroma is almost identical to the lager. Flavor is a tad bit more impressive. Just a tad though. Almost a hard liquor taste at the end that doesn’t really make sense. Upgrade from the Lager Especial, but then again lots of things would have been an upgrade.

Very rich, smells great! Goes down smooth with a great aftertaste. The taste is very robust.

12 oz bottle into lager glass- poured amber color, transparent, an off white head that quickly faded away. Aroma of weakly roasted malt. Hits the mouth with a thin body, malt is noticeable, carries to the finish, no hops whatsoever. A decent drinking beer on a hot day.

Bottle. Amber colour with an off-white head. A little bit of caramel & a little bit of malt in the aroma. Similar taste, quite bland.

Pours an amber color with almost no head. Not much taste to this one. All malt and no hops. Very average.

Pours a light to medium copper with limited head. Flavors of malt and yeast make this brew palatable, yet there is no kick. Very smooth and drinkable beer, but the taste really falls apart at the aftertaste. I still prefer it over the big three.

Not bad. Not great. I was on a Mexican beer kick when I tried this w/o a lime wedge and wasn’t awfully disappointed. Maybe next time I’ll try with a lime. It’s worth a try.
