Not too bad when it is very cold. The best beer at the mexican eatery. A little sweeter than ragular.

This is a great beer with a few limes squeezed into a very cold mug. Refreshing, crisp, and enjoyable.

This, to me was like the Mexican version of Coors Original. Drinkable, definitely ; but the pale was better.

This is typically the best Mexican beer around and it is pretty good but hardly great. It has moderately richer flavour and aroma, with some toasty maltiness and a little body to the flavour.

Nov 2005 - Had one of these while waiting for my Mexican takeout...shoulda had the Pepsi instead. It looked ok...amber color with moderate head that even left some lacing. But the aroma and taste were awful. Flavor was bitter with very little if any malty goodness...and it wasn’t even a good hop bitterness, it wast that rancid lager bitterness. Yuck. This is worse than many of the swills out there (no taste is better than bad taste).

I’d rather drink the pale stuff. Has some malty flavors evident, but the finish is metallic and really unpleasant. At least the pale stuff doesn’t do anything unexpected!
