Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Bottle. Poured well, small head, nice reddish hue. Thankfully wasn’t ice cold - telling. Really adds to a meal.

Not a bad brew... drinkable, but too expensive for what you get. Maybe would order it at a Mexican restaurant...

I really enjoy this beer... being from Texas, Mexican beers are pretty common and this is among my favorites. Great with a lime, but it isn’t necessary like it is for many Mexican beers. True story: I was once in Mexico, and one of the locals was talking about beer and that they don’t drink Corona in Mexico, they send it all to the US and they drink Dos Equis. My favorite beer to drink at a Mexican restaurant. 12 oz. bottle, on tap.

330ml bottle. Better than the standard Mexican pale lagers we get in the UK. Muddy brown rather than amber; some malty flavour; sweet and bland but not offensive.

a solid alternative to that Corona crap. Nothing to write home about but clean and a refreshing drink.

The best of the Mexican widely available beers, but not much of a beer to be honest. On draught at Surf Taco during my Long Beach Trip, did a good job of washing down some fish tacos.

this used to be one of my favorites as a kid but it was always above my budget, so it was a rare treat... but now I find it quite pedestrian in taste
