Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Light amber color with a nice head that dissolves quickly. It had a light hoppy taste but overall good flavor without a harsh aftertaste. Not much of an aroma. I would consider naming it a gem among my favorite bad beers ;)

Bottle. Nice sweet taste with caramel taste. Clear amber color. Good carbonation. Something totally different for a Mexican beer. Very surprising.

Reddish brown in color, thin off white head. Sweet malts and some caramel on the nose, nothing special. Light in body and nicley carbonated.

Bottle... simply put, it tastes like water. Pretty expensive for the flavor that you get.

BOTTLE: This is a premium priced beer? Better than a typical macro-lager for sure but not distant enough from one for me. Enough of a corn-based character to pass as a Coors or Miller product. BUY AGAIN?= probably not

I wasn’t expecting much, but this was pretty decent. Malty amber taste, no hop character. Light bodied, but not too watery or over-carbonated. On the expensive side for what it is though.
