Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Draft - Darl amber color. Minimal head with little lacing. I’ve had this a number of times in the past, but this was the best. Maybe it was because the restaurant was very warm, but this beer was extremely smooth. Not a great beer compared to most of the micros, but all the same very drinkable.

Draft. I agree with the previous reviewer this is superior the Dos XX special lager. Still is not a great beer. But it’s better than sobriety.

WOW. this one is very good. the best mexican beer i have drank. Pours out a nice medium amber color with a medium white head. aroma is semi sweet with bits of malt. flavor is very much the same. I really enjoyed this beer. Especially in the 32oz draft form that i drank it in. cannot beleive that i had been choosing the other dos over this one.

Sweet Aroma, little carbonation, good and strong-remaining palate, flavor related to Negra Modelo, but this one refresh better. Incredibly they dont sell it here in Mexico, just by order... Shame!!

Aroma is sweet malt and grain. Pours a wierd dull amber color thats got a wierd greyish hue to it. Flavor is mostly sweet corn. There is some crisp hops, but not too much. It is better than Corona, but not as good as Negra Modelo.

Light amber color. Rather bland corn malt and hop profile. How do I say this? Better than the Especial on its own, but add a lime to the Especial and it wins out. Does that make sense?

Good beer. I perfet the especial however. Best if you are actually in Mexico, all though the scenery could have helped. Much better then Corona.

Should have two different scoring options. One alone and one with chips and salsa. A great beer to drink with mexican food and compliments chips very well. Also solid drinking it by itself on a hot day.
