A great beer to drink with mexican food and compliments chips very well. Also solid drinking it by itself on a hot day. charcot25 (181), Cordova, Tennessee, USA

Has a deep red color (presumably due to coloring) with practically no head. No aroma except the lime that it was served with. Has a faint malt taste but is overwhelmed by corn-blandness. No hop presence whatsoever. Thin, watery body but good for washing down tacos. TcTango (48), Tyler, Texas, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Jun 6, 2007 Bottle. Poured a dark amber with little aroma. Had a pleasant maltiness, but overall was pretty watery. Had a good flavor, though it was weak. littlecarp (128), Redding, California, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Pours amber (obviously) with a very insignificant head that quickly fades to nothing. After five minutes it looks like a glass of wine to me. Aroma is pretty strong, but is not at all favorable. Smells like something I’d pick up at a club in Tijuana. Initial flavor has a roasted quality, very malty. It finishes with the same savory feel with a hint of bitterness. Not terribly bad, but not outstanding by any means. I wouldn’t be caught drinking this again. MadIndian (997), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
