Should have two different scoring options. One alone and one with chips and salsa. A great beer to drink with mexican food and compliments chips very well. Also solid drinking it by itself on a hot day.

12 oz bottle at a Mexican restaurant (where else?). Has a deep red color (presumably due to coloring) with practically no head. No aroma except the lime that it was served with. Has a faint malt taste but is overwhelmed by corn-blandness. No hop presence whatsoever. Thin, watery body but good for washing down tacos.

Bottle. Poured a dark amber with little aroma. Had a pleasant maltiness, but overall was pretty watery. Had a good flavor, though it was weak.

Pours amber (obviously) with a very insignificant head that quickly fades to nothing. After five minutes it looks like a glass of wine to me. Aroma is pretty strong, but is not at all favorable. Smells like something I’d pick up at a club in Tijuana. Initial flavor has a roasted quality, very malty. It finishes with the same savory feel with a hint of bitterness. Not terribly bad, but not outstanding by any means. I wouldn’t be caught drinking this again.

Drank strictly for the rating. I didn’t expect much but it surprisingly was not horrible. Thin and watery for my taste.

Thin palate, and a taste that makes me think of old stamp glue. Still, it’s a better choice than Corona.

From tap pours nice amber color with very little head. Not a very strong flavor with no real finish.
