A little better than their premium lager, but still not much aromas and taste again.

Draft. Grainy flavor, similar to american pale lagers. Not good for the style, and not representative of an "ale."

Bottle at the local Mexican establishment. Pours a dark reddish/amber with a small white head. Aroma of some malt, spice and grains. Flavor is pretty clean and very nice compared to Corona or other similar beers. Some malt and a hop presence, clean finish without the bad aftertaste of Negra Modelo.

Bottle - An amber/reddish beer with not much of a head. Malty notes, thin flavor of malted grain, hint of hops. Not much to it, but better than most macros.

much better and more flavorful than its cousin XX Special Lager. Pours a light amber color, very smooth, very refreshing especially with a hot plate of mexican food. Light in aroma and bitterness

Bottle. This was a nice change for me, easier to drink because it doesn’t have the skunk smell that most cheap beer a 21 yr old drinks. It’s smooth--only complaint is the strong after taste--very bitter.

Draft in Tex-Mex restaurant in Boise, ID. Aroma is not-so-much-skunk lager. Thin amber with slight head. Better than industrial US lager, but still a watery industrial lager.
