Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Amber color, amber flavor just light sweetness, this beer is not horrible but not memorable in any sense of the word.

Bottle/draft. Not the best or worst, but definitely a step above Corona products. Average across the board.

Amber color. No aroma and just a light caramel taste, in a watery brew. Boring.

Beautiful dark red. Light to No aroma. Taste was nice and sweet but not too strong. Not the worst...

I have had this beer on draft at Mexican restaurants a number of times, and usually I am not too impressed. Prototypical amber color with a light tan head, that does not last long. Features light carbonation and a flavor mixed with bitter and some sweet tones. It is a fairly light and smooth beer, without any dominant aroma; possibly grainy/corny.

Better than the special lager, and my top pick of crappy Mexi brew. My choice whilst dining at some of the fine Mexican eateries in the Texas area of this planet we call Earth.

I really enjoy this beer. Its not too heavy for a dark beer, but not watered down. Aroma is okay, nothing to shout about. Appearance is a chocolaty-caramel color, not too dark, about right on for an amber. Easy on the palate, but not overly exciting. Great with food or a night of drinks at the pub. Don’t put lime in it.
