Good crisp clean taste. This brew doesn’t offer much in the means of flavor, but it does bring a lot to the table in terms of refreshment.

Original review posted 10/18/2008... Pours a rusty, amber bourbon color that looks very thin and clammy. No head to speak of. Slight tone of amber malt but that’s it. Not bad but not much of anything. Relatively clean and sparse amber malt. Slight ginger/sarsparilla feel. Not powerful but enjoyable enough, especially with appropriately spiced food. Crisp on the palate aided by carbonation tingle.Slight pine to the hop pucker. Finish is clean of aftertaste. This one’s a nice spot start. Not one for the regular rotation but when the matchups are good it’ll eat up some innings.

Overall Impression: I actually like this one a good bit for a Macro, not a great beer, but it has a bit of flavor to it, which is nice. Sure, its a little watery and grainy, but its a Mexican lager, you weren’t expecting to get a big hoppy finish or something, were you? One of the better choices at Mexican Restaurants and Cinco De Mayo parties.

Poured a dark amber color. A better mexican beer. Good beer to have at dinner. Aroma wasn’t the greatest.

draft at Cozumel. Light to medium amber pour. Better than most mexican’s. Light malty taste to seperate itself. Drinkable & not a bad summer beer
