A red-brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted bread. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a thin body. Quite boring.

(On tap) Pretty, clear amber with an off-white head. Very vague aroma, perhaps I do detect a whiff of malt - to be polite. Thin and watery with vague traces of malt. Not really that different from the standard Dos Equis - apart from the colour. 160406

From tap at Yards in Pasadena. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head. Light caramelish dry aroma. Flavour holds a mild bitterness to this dry caramel note. Dry and bitter finish.

Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, cardboard notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090802]

Bottled@Delirium Cafe, Gothenburg 2006. Amber colour with small white head. Rick carbonation. Aroma is maize and some slight toffeelike notes as well as grass. Flavour is the same. Rather watery.

I used to think this was a rather bitter, complex beer. Hell, I gave it an 8 out of 10. Then I turned old enough to drink and realized how wrong I was.
