A_R (277), Georgia, USA Apr 4, 2008 Dark amber color. Taste was a pleasant malt. Mouthfeel was weak and watery.
unclemattie (1519), Georgia, USA Jul 18, 2008 12oz bottle. pours clear reddish-brown color, eggshell colored head. aroma of corn and light toast. Nutty. Austin Powers "nutty". Flavor is of water and corn. Gross. I’ll stick with the green bottle of Dos Equis XX when I’m stuck in Mexico. rodneykm (107), Westminster, South Carolina, USA Jul 15, 2008 Good: Crisp and easy to drink. Had a dark beer after taste to it but a lager feel to it
Bad: Felt very "hollow" which confused me when the dark after taste came through.
Overall: I’ll try again I’m sure, but I wont go out of my way to do so. Swalden_28 (510), McKinney, Texas, USA Jul 14, 2008 Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX.
Pours a nice looking clear amber with nice off-white head, good retention. Not much aroma, very faint caramel with a very light touch of maple. Flavor of faint caramel malt and hops, balanced. Mouthfeel is light with high carbonation...Over all, it is a tasty easy drinking beer.... Imaena (166), Portland, Maine, USA Jul 13, 2008 Bottle 08’. Dont know how it ours or smells because i drank this out of the bottle as it was meant to be. Wet cardboard and light white noise hopping. NOt bad with queso and chips. I would never drink it solo unless desperate. But hey its summer and you do what you can. CaryTheDude (111), Ripon, Wisconsin, USA Jul 13, 2008 I love it when the bottle says it’s one thing and ratebeer classifies it as something else. This beer isn’t as awesome as the Most Interesting Man, otherwise it’d have a beard and be badass.
