JonR888710 (1000), Cochabamba, Bolivia Jul 3, 2008 Sampled on draught at Carlos O’Kelley’s restaurant in Fairfax, VA. Pours a fine, clear amber with a medium white head. Aroma has some caramel in it, with dry seltzer water hops, like its brother Dos Equis lager. Works very well with spicy mexican food, beans, chips and the like. Paired with food, this is not a bad choice. But certainly not something a conniseur would drink. Decent beer.
Skyview (3063), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Nov 30, 2008 Sampled during Swig-a-Swill Guzzler in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear, light amber brew with a thin off-white head that disappears clean when served at 35° F. Aroma of golden grain and caramel malt, some grassy hops and a hint of corn. Taste is light bodied, plenty of carbonation and flavors of multi-grain malt, a touch of corn, caramel and grassy hops. Finish is slightly sweet with some citrus zest and plenty of water. TURDFERGUSON (1182), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA Nov 26, 2008 Man, I used to order this at mexican restaurants when I first turned 21. How far I have come. Just picked one of these out of my parents fridge and couldn’t even finish half of it. Its pretty gross. Very watery, somehow I remember some flavor, but no, there is none to be found. Semi-sweet mexican crap. Horrible. Corona with a lime might be better. drjay44 (225), Colorado, USA Nov 21, 2008 Bottle, had at a not very good Mexican style restaurant. Pours a thin head over an amber body....nose of malts...tastes of malts...very light, simple, summer, desert type beer. 11/13/2008 ethomson (43), Huntington Beach, California, USA Oct 29, 2008 I liked it, it was a nice deep amber pour, almost a rust. almost no head with slight carbonation. It was thin, with charachteristics of malt and slight hoppyness but not much. A good beer with mexican food though. Get it with a lime! terrybail (185), , Ontario, Canada Oct 28, 2008 12oz bottle from th LCBO
