Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Sampled during Swig-a-Swill Guzzler in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear, light amber brew with a thin off-white head that disappears clean when served at 35° F. Aroma of golden grain and caramel malt, some grassy hops and a hint of corn. Taste is light bodied, plenty of carbonation and flavors of multi-grain malt, a touch of corn, caramel and grassy hops. Finish is slightly sweet with some citrus zest and plenty of water.

Man, I used to order this at mexican restaurants when I first turned 21. How far I have come. Just picked one of these out of my parents fridge and couldn’t even finish half of it. Its pretty gross. Very watery, somehow I remember some flavor, but no, there is none to be found. Semi-sweet mexican crap. Horrible. Corona with a lime might be better.

I liked it, it was a nice deep amber pour, almost a rust. almost no head with slight carbonation. It was thin, with charachteristics of malt and slight hoppyness but not much. A good beer with mexican food though. Get it with a lime!
