El Real de Cervezas Mexicanos - the best Mexican beer I’ve ever had and my beer of choice whenever I eat at a Mexican Restaurant. It must be brewed in the tradition of the Austrian brewmeisters that came to Mexico when Maximillian ruled in the 1860’s It has bit of a Europen edge that I like in a beer - just the right amount of bitterness. Tasty, highly carbonated beer, but definitely drinkable. Best of the mexican beers I think, and outshines the Dos Equis Amber by a slight margin. Nothing special, but not bad. dwaggs2 (563), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 26, 2009 The aroma was the best part of it, I guess, with it’s malt sort of sweetness and licorous tones, adding the yeast. The taste was some weak hoppiness along with also faint roasted malt, more water than necessary, but quite drinkable. Color was nice, slightly dark golden, little and quick fading white head. Drinkable one!
