Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Special Lager is a refreshing, crisp, golden, lager style beer imported from Mexico. Made with roasted malts, choice hops, a unique strain of yeast and purified water, this distinctive brew is known simply as “Lager” in its homeland.

Not a fan of these. They seem to have a bit more flavor than their main counterpart Corona but this actually hurts it as the flavor is not good and tend toward skunky.

Ehh. I really don’t think the "most interesting man in the world" would settle for this mediocre beer. XX ain’t bad for the style, but the style is pretty bad by nature. Deep golden brown color with white head. Grainy and corny on the aroma and the flavor. Some malty sweetness and slight hop bitterness. A little watery on the palate.

Bottle Pours a nice deep gold with a good white head. Aroma of corn and grains. Has a decent taste for what it is. Slightly bitter and refreshing. Good to have at a Mexican resturant. An okay beer that goes good with buritos and nachos.

Brownish gold pour with a small foamy white head that has not retention. Aroma is grainy, nasty corn, a little straw. Flavor is basically the same but sith an vague overly sweet taste, like it received a tablespoon of white corn syrup or something. Finish is grainy with a hint of bitterness.

clear gold, mild white head dissolves into tiny bubbles. some lacing. aroma is mostly air, with slightest grainy hint. flavor has perhaps a bit of grain and grass. very fizzy, watery palate. forgettable, but inoffensive. 6 pack from liquor depot in monee.

Decent macro beer, I feel much more worldly after trying such a mysterious and experienced force of nature.

Deep gold with a good two finger white head. Very modest lacings. Aroma is corny, copper. Taste is corny, sweet, and slightly bitter finish. Perfect US macro clone. Easy drinker, mild carbonation, slightly sweet finish. Would be fine with a Mexiacan meal. No bad qualities. Serving type: bottle

Pours pale yellow/white into an English pint. Bright white head quickly recedes to nothing. Sour, stale tortilla aromas. Crisp and without flavor.
