Clear golden color, white head. Malty sweet scent and taste. Medium low mouthfeel, rather low bitterness.

A solid Mexican lager that is much better than the flagship Corona. Still very thin though. Light, crisp, flavor. Good for quenching your thirst or cooling your mouth.

Can. 4.5% ABV. Yellow-ish golden color with a small white head that falls immediately. Aroma has light malty notes, some adjuncty graininess and some faint cardboard hints. Sweetish and quite grainy flavor with some cooked corn notes. Light-bodied. Nothing good, but also nothing too offensive about this one. Just another generic, rather bland, pale lager.

(Sample at September 12, 2008 Beer Club Meeting) Skunky aroma coming from a VERY light colored lager. Thin head. Flavor is fruity, bitter, sweet with a carbonated mouthfeel. Something to drink when all else that’s available is its American macro-brewed counterpart.

Yellow brillant and cristal color, no head, a little cereal aroma, the flavor is fresh and light, no taste...

Bottle (355ml). Poured fizzy yellow with a small, rocky, white head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of sweet grainy malts with some metallic notes, a touch of honey and just a hint of lemon citrus. Flavor was thin, watery, bland and far too sweet; gainy malts with just a hint of lemon – no bitterness and a clean finish. Light bodied with medium carbonation, a dry mouthfeel, watery texture and a short finish.

Nothing special in this beer, just the classic lager flavor, not bad not good.

Drank straight from the bottle, after discarding the lime provided. Very little flavor, drowned out by the meal; akin to soda. Mostly carbonation.
