| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Nov 23, 2009 Great ads, mediocre beer. Why do so many people like this? Primarily corn in flavor, clear, goes flat easily. One must jam a lime into the top if one seeks any taste other than corn. Pretty much glorified swill beer. Not good. But I just love that guy! We bought a stand up model of him from a liquor store for a party and he actually made some of the female guests uncomfortable because he kept staring at them. An average light beer with a great advertising campaign and high price. thehurt01 (208), Denver, Colorado, USA

App.: Clear golden with a small white head.
Aroma: Generic light cereal/grain malts, a touch of caramel, a bit of floral and grassy hops, a weird sweetness.
Palate: Medium body and medium-ish carbonation.
Flav.: Like the nose, there is some light malt, a touch of caramel, a wee hint of hops; dry with no bitterness to speak of.
Ole? The commercials are WAY better than the beer. Stay thirsty, my friends. phaleslu (567), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Oct 16, 2009 12 oz. bottle back-to-back with a Tecate at a Mexican restaurant in LAX. Tough to distinguish between the two, so I rated them exactly the same. Pours a pale clear gold with a big white head, but not quite as much carbonation as its cousin Tecate. Aroma of grains, rice, corn, malt and flavor of the same, but watery. Carbonation once again gives a bubbly, watery mouthfeel. Bland, and once again the bartender told me I was missing out by not using a lime and was bewildered that I wanted separate glasses for the beers. Maybe he was right.
