| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 4, 2008 Can. Average to almost large egg-white head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Clear sparkling body with a hay like yellow color. Aroma was primarily sweet malty hay like with a hint of hoppy grass. Light bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness. Light sweet hay with a hint of bitter grass. I was very thirsty, and this actually was a good thirst cruncher but nothing special. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Jul 3, 2008 Sampled at Carlos O’Kelley’s restaurant in Fairfax, VA. Pours a clear golden, like ginger ale, with a medium white head. Aroma is corn, seltzer water, dry hops. Flavor is the same, watery, some indistinct malt. Not atrocious, but come on, donde estas el sabor? I can’t taste anything. Didn’t enjoy this at all. hoplover (166), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA
| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jun 27, 2008 I dislike mexican beers very much. Not because they ar emexican but the beers usually are pretty plain and watery. Nothing that stands out. Hops, malts, yeast... Nothing. Haven’t had one that I like. mweber962000 (70), Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Jun 24, 2008 if you want to start a label of "mexican beers" this is probably the standard. better than corona...not as good as pacifico. but they are all so close you cant lose if you like that style which i do. better than any american mass produced. i actually like better than the negro which im prolly the only one on here. beachbum25 (805), Powellville, Maryland, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 21, 2008 Updated: Jun 22, 200812 oz bottle-from the bottle @ a Mexican resteraunt. This wasn’t as bad as I was expecting, everyone was ordering Mexican beers to get into the spirit of the place & I was happy I picked this unknown (to me) selection over a Corona. Pretty bland, but unofensive. Served it cold & it quenched the thirst. It wasn’t anything to write home about, but it was a drinkable Cerveza, & I’ve had much worse. I could see having these @ a cookout or on the beach on a hot day. TheSponge (281), Lynnwood, Washington, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 16, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a pale golden yellow. Crisp and light. Slightly skunky, due to the fact that this beer comes in a green bottle. Overall, not too bad.
