Bottle at Village Pub. Pourd clear pale color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Medium grassy & grainy aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short duration. Below average brew.

5/6/08 From the bottle. Aroma is corny and simple, slightly sweet with light noble hop flora, but overall very, very light. Appearance is a clear yellow with no head. Flavor is carbonic and slightly sweet, but the funky bittering gives it an almost metallic tone. Mouthfeel is light bodied, dry, with a slightly acidic carb bite. Overall, I’m not too timpressed, its drinkable but not very refreshing for a mexican beer.

120z bottle. The winner of the pale lagers in the mexican beer comp this cinco de mayo. Clear golden with a grassy aroma. Light and corny taste, but more bitterness and cleanliness than Corona. No lime required, though it surely doesn’t hurt when it comes down to it. Good companion to some spicy tacos, though it doesn’t have much merit otherwise.

Not much flavor, but what you can taste is okay. It is crisp and refreshing. That’s good Mexico!

Draft at On The Border’s Cinco party. Very thin in body, pale straw color, a small fizzy head, and grainy aroma basically defines this beer. Not a whole lot to it.

5/2/08: Bottle.
Pale yellow body with a lemony lager nose. Slightly straw-like flavor.
