Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Special Lager is a refreshing, crisp, golden, lager style beer imported from Mexico. Made with roasted malts, choice hops, a unique strain of yeast and purified water, this distinctive brew is known simply as “Lager” in its homeland.

This is the Milwaukee’s best of Mexican beers. Which still makes it a far site better than Milwaukee’s best, and better than Budweiser, and better than Miller... Sour rotting silage aroma. Very little head, generic "beer" yellow color and watered down fermenting grain taste.

Refreshing, quenched thirst with bar bar que smoked meats, light, mininally flavorful, crisp, had a hint of skunkiness but overall not the worst light mass produced, most things have times and places

A much lighter tasting lager. Mexico’s German brewer creates a watery beer with hints of malts and hops. Not bad... better with lime.

I love this beer. Maybe it was the hot sun in Mexico, or the hint of salted lime wedged in the opening... or just being on vacation. This is a great, refreshing, light thirst-quenching beer. I guess I’m just not that sophisticated. I’m comfortable with that.

Okay Pale Lager, but nothing great. Minimal head, straw color, faintest scent of malts. Flavor is light, but has a slight twang to it. Average.

Not even close to the Amber. Somewhat malty and yeasty on the aroma with a little malt on the palate. Fair but not good.

Cancun Mexico. Pours a weak pee yellow colour. The head is off white with fairly big bubbles. Malts and a hint of some kind of flavor (something sweet and uninteresting). clean finish. bleh.
