It looks inviting, but in a I’m thirsty way, nothing more. Flavor is quite normal for lager. It’s not astringent or bitter. It’s alright. imdownthepub (5168), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

Corny, sweet lager malt type beer, thin, cardboardy and a touch stale. Not very pleasant. madquacker (722), Canberra ACT, Australia
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Feb 24, 2008 Flat head with an overriding cheap and sweet corn alcohol flavour. No balance or interest at all. Awful. johndavidj99 (123), Township, Maine, USA

Weak cheap aroma with weak watery "macro" taste. A lime adds some character and makes it more palatable. No me gusta!

Since I enjoy the mexican beers, I’ll be one of the outliers that rates it well. Add a lime to give it some body and it will quench any hot day’s thirst. kidmartinek (988), austin, Texas, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Feb 19, 2008 Pours a watery almost clear pale yellow color. Tres lame for a XX beer. Less than 1 inch of white empty foam. Smells like sweet corn and sugar, and other cow grains. Tastes like water with sugar added. Begs for the lime to be added to make up for the poor/lack of taste. sneagrams3 (1757), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 19, 2008 Tasted 2/15/08. 12oz bottle. Filtered with a golden hue. Spiraling white head. Corn and cereal aromas. Sweet simple sugars. Light bodied and dry, but citrusy. Tart citrus and mild effervescence. Bigger palate than Tecate with fruit esters undertones. zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Feb 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear yellow, white head. Aroma is malt (corn) and hops. Flavor is malty sweet and slightly hoppy. Too malty for me.
