A hundred times better than Corona. One of my favorite Mexican beer’s, golden yellow with a surprisingly good taste. Great on a hot summer day. Very drinkable.

As far as macro pale lagers are concerned, especially Mexican pale lagers, Dos Equis is not that bad, it is just a long way from being good. Grass in the nose. Fizzy white head that vanishes quickly. Taste is a bit sour and then nothing. Dry and fizzy. Not my choice, but not horrible given the competition.

slight sour taste. little apple, little green bottle skunk. not bad for what it is.

12oz bottle. Pours yellow with a white head. Taste is crisp and is very good w lime. My fovorite Mexican beer and perfet for chilling in the back yard on a hot summer day.

One of my top favorite Mexican beers. Tastes much better on tap. Very refreshing - needs the lime to compliment the flavors. Crisp, fairly light. Much better than Corona.

To be honest Dos Equis Special has always been a beer I’ve liked. When it comes to having a beer for a picnic or on a hot summers day it’s just right in my eyes. It’s not heavy it has a smooth refreshing taste and if you add a lime it brings out the real flavor of this lager. If you have a chance try it in Mexico on tap and I think that those of you who don’t like it will change your tune, but even if you don’t just add a lime and you might be surprised.

Dos Equis is better than Corona by a long shot - that doesn’t really say much though. This is a pretty decent for a Mexican beer - I wouldn’t expect much more. Somewhat sweet aroma, a little more flavor than corona, and overall it is what it is - beer.
