Dos Equis XX Special Lager

Bottle. Pale yellow / gold pour. Weak aroma, maybe a touch of champagne. Better than the Dos Equis Amber, but not by much.

This one won’t sit well with the dark beer or craft ale crowd, but this is a pretty good lager. It’s a little low on the hops and not bitter but still goes down pretty pleasantly. This one would go great with all kinds of food. It definitely beats Tecate and Pacifico and all the major American brewers except Colorado Koolaid and Sam Adams, of course.

Stick a lime in it, have it with your fajitas-- don’t write home about it but goes well with Tex-Mex fare and the Mrs. will like it. Leaps and bounds above Corona and others.

12 ounce bottle available at supermarkets for about $1.50 Not a bad choice.

Very light and smooth lager. One of the best Mexican Beers out there. Taste great with your taco’s @ Pepe’s.

i liked this one over their other beer. smells a bit different but the taste isn’t too bad.

This is a "special lager" that needs some "special" attention. Nothing to brag about here.

Bottle, hmm special I am not quite sure, pours a light golden color with a thin white head. Not too bad for a mexican brew still not in the same league as Bohemia but not as skunky as a corona.
