Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Special Lager is a refreshing, crisp, golden, lager style beer imported from Mexico. Made with roasted malts, choice hops, a unique strain of yeast and purified water, this distinctive brew is known simply as “Lager” in its homeland.

THE COMMERCIALS FOR THIS BEER ARE GREAT, THE ONLY WAY THEY COULD BE BETTER IS IF THEY CHANGED THE FRASE TO: "I DRINK BEER OFTEN, AND ITS NEVER DOS EQUIS" . THIS SO CALLED BEER IS SLIGHTLY YELLOW WITH ABSOLUTELY NO HEAD IT SMELLS LIKE A HEADACHE ABOUT TO HAPPEN , THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY POSITIVE ABOUT IT IS THAT IT DOSNT TASTE BAD ONLY BECAUSE IT HAS NEARLY NO FLAVOR AT ALL. IT ACTUALLY TASTE LIKE WATER WITH A DROP OF SELTZER AND A SPLASH OF LIME.

Pale pour that is amazingly not skunked! Not too bad, much better on tap. A little above the cut for Mexican beer.

12 oz bottle. This is the best Mexican beer I’ve yet to rank on here. No skunk aroma like many of the cervezas from this country. Not bad flavor. Not all that great, but better than most of the beers from this country.

I love me a few dos equis on a hot day. Very light and watery almost like not drinking beer. Tastes like water, lime and some grassiness. Nothing special about the aroma, appearance or flavor. Rated 13 out of 20 for drinkability on a hot day. Prefer these to most other mexican beers even though they are all similar. And definitely prefer to american macros

Pours a golden yellow with a thin white head. It tastes of plain corn malt and maybe a small hint of hops, but overall very much like eating bland cornbread. There isn’t anything that’s particular bad about this beer, but there’s nothing particularly good either.

Light yellow, white head. Typical lager taste, once it’s been through your system and diluted by 50 per cent. Not a good beer.
