Dos Equis Special Lager is a refreshing, crisp, golden, lager style beer imported from Mexico. Made with roasted malts, choice hops, a unique strain of yeast and purified water, this distinctive brew is known simply as “Lager” in its homeland.

If you really need a Mexi beer, I’de say go with this one. Pours like piss with a foamy head. I prefer the dark.

Bottle. A basic mexican beer to have with your meal. After enough sips and some warming it becomes "not too bad".

Overall, not a bad brew to consume with Mexican food. More body and certainly more taste than Corona. Not great, but a decent beer.

Not bad but not great. This is the best of the Mexican beers in my opinion. This is what the vampire were drinking in "From ’til Dawn". Smooth and easy drinkin’.

Deep yellow tahn the mother mexican beers. Still a subtle malt aroma though. Solid crisp taste for a mexican lager. Good choice, but I prefer Corona or Pacifico over this one if I am on a beach... or if I can get it Piton.

Bottle. To me, this is the definitive Mexican beer, not Corona. Nice crispness to this one though, almost has a pilsener taste to it. Having said that, I do not care for Mexican beer.

Not one of my favorite pale ale’s by any means, but I’ve had worse. I wouldn’t complain drinking this on a beach in Mexico, thats for sure.
