Commercial Description:
Dos Equis Special Lager is a refreshing, crisp, golden, lager style beer imported from Mexico. Made with roasted malts, choice hops, a unique strain of yeast and purified water, this distinctive brew is known simply as “Lager” in its homeland.

Bottle. Used to drink this in a little dive in Algodones, Baja. Not sure I have ever poured one into a glass They always served it with rock salt and these great hot peanuts. Maybe it is just nostalgia that makes me like it. Light easy-drinking beer. Pretty tasty after cutting the grass.

This beer was pretty much water. It did not have much taste at all, but I still thought that it was a good beer. The taste that it did have was a good one and was certainly inviting. Nice, crisp and smooth. Truly a refreshing beer for those hot climates.

Bottle. Ok, but nothing special. Better than Bud or Miller, but thats not really much of an endorsement.

It’s really hard to take this kind of beer seriously. It seems as if they took Corona and Beck’s and decided to mix the two together. It’s not very good and it’s overrated, in my opinion. It also tastes a little bitter, too.

Decent lager but not worth the price you have to pay. If it was around the cost of budweiser it might be worth it.

This is a fine lager, although the green bottle allows for some subtle off-flavors. Solid beer, if it weren’t for the expensive cost. Probably a good deal at a $1 bottle, but otherwise I don’t recommend it.

(Bottle) Pours yellow with small head. Sweet aroma. Bland, with some off-tastes. Not very hoppy. Sour aftertaste. I recommend the Dos Equis Amber over this stuff any day.

Very dull bronze. No head, no visible carbo. Heavy adjunct and fusel aroma. Makes the bland Sol tasted before it seem enticing in comparison. Tart, grainy, green flavour. No me gusta.
