| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 21, 2009 Yuck! I had high expectations for this one, given it’s rating and reputation. It pours into the glass llike syrup. Very unattractive. Very low carbonation. Taste is excessively sweet, like cotton candy. Not enough hop balance. This doesn’t taste at all like beer. Will not be buying this one again... highly overrated! Rciesla (3610), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 21, 2009 Bomber. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Chewy hoppiness with a nice grass y feel to it. Moderate malt and fruity etoh warming with sugar sweetness. Then my notes says F.Drunk. Great beer. A big beer for big bellies. dmschefke (371), Eastpointe, Michigan, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 18, 2009 Pours an orangish brown with thick tan head and a lot of lacing. Aroma of hops, pine, and grass. Flavor is similar, but it’s almost as if they just threw tons of ingredients in without a lot of attention paid to if they actually make sense in the proportion. It gets easier to drink as it warms, but I am just not impressed. zizzybalubba (366), Elizabeth City, North Carolina, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 13, 2009 22 oz. bottle from Grape & Gourmet, 2008 release. Pours a thick, brownish-orange color with a very thin off-white head. Aroma of peach, apricot, wet grass, and pineapple. Tastes of grapefruit, caramel, apricot, and apple. Extremely complex. Moderate alcohol burn but not nearly as easy to detect as when this was fresh or especially on tap. Another excellent offering from Stone. gibson584 (25), Kentucky, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 11, 2009 Bomber purchased at The Keg and poured in glass. Aroma is of hops, pine, grapefruit, with a hint of sweet molasses. flavor is very similar with a slight alcohol bite at the end. Still the beer is smooth and very drinkable. The large flavor of hops makes it taste a lot like an Imperial IPA but it contains some unique attributes. Great beer. BustedFlat (553), Edina, Minnesota, USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | May 6, 2009 Pours a nice mahogany with a light tan head that leaves a perfect lacing down the glass.
Smells of badusy and awesomeness.
jesus mary mother of god this is fantastic. far better than expected. Far better balanced than I expected. Hops are in the background and keeping this from being too sweet.
Alcohol is far more hidden than expected.
