Commercial Description:
This is a lacerative muther of a beer. The evil big brother of Arrogant Bastard Ale. It is strongly suggested you stay far, far away from this beer. Those foolish enough to venture close enough to taste will experience a punishingly unforgiving assault on the palate. ’Course there’s always the masochists...

Sampled from a large, novelty size 70 dollar bottle. Intense, almost overwhelming, but just right to keep coming back. Flavor of all things natural. A relentless brew that lives up to its name, logo, and story.

Eh, pretty good beer. This is not really my style of beer so I may rerate eventually.

Bottle. Pours a reddish orange with a small off white head. The aroma is quiet sweet with lots of molasses and some bubble gum. The flavor is dominated by the hops. Lots of bitterness and strong Alcohol rule here. FInish is heavily bitter and lasts forever. Tasted this with the arrogant bastard also and to me it was just to much. The Arrogant bastard was so much nicer.

Bottled. Poured clear, tawny with a tan, foamy head. Nose was caramel and hop resin. Flavor was sweet, caramel malt, alcohol. Finish was slightly hoppy. Mouthfeel was medium, sticky, with alcohol in the finish. A fine big beer.

2002 thanks to Atlanta group. Poured into snifter glass. Pours medium brown. Malty, sour nose. Smells pretty sharp. Rich malt, very full. Alcohol is there, but not in the front, noticed only in the aftertaste really. Very, very delicious beer. Could drink this for quite a while.

Double wow! Talk about a hefty beer. the great thing is, you don’t even realize its so massive until halfway through it. goes down nice and smooth, not too hoppy. Goes down as one of brewing’s great achievements.

What a heavy beer. Thick luscious head for a 10% beer. Pours a heavy amber hue with ruby hints. Very hoppy yet balanced.
