Pour is maroonish brown with slight suddy white head atop. Sticky with plenty of piney and citrus hops, malts, and sweet dark fruits...then some more on top. Palate is tingly and spicy. Indications of alcohol but amazing well hidden, like a troll under a bridge. Made my soar throat all feel better. Maybe the cure for swine flu

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 30, 2009 Pineapple nose. Opaque copper, thin yellow head. Full bodied, resinous mouthfeel. Extremely hoppy pine flavor with a fair malt backbone and grapefruit accents. Pine and plum finish. It is what it is: a hop bomb, but a good one. Alcohol almost unnoticeable. Do not pair with anything sweet, it will clash.
