Light amber, fake white head. Aroma is slightly hoppy, a little bready. Balanced flavour, while not outstading, is pretty decent. Creamy palate. Not bad. Nitro can.

Reminded me very much off bass. mild malt aroma, dissipating head. Somewhat thin palate. Still it was clean and refreshing and not the worst pale ale ive ever had.

on tap and bottled: this used to be easy to find and since the mid 90's its pretty much gone, tetley im sure bought these guys out and may do some little promoting if none, maybe its not even brewed. prety much your typical english pale ale, bass, whitbread, watneys, double diamon, oh this is double diamond. used to be one of my faves. higher ratings may be nostalgic!

This ale pours a dark orange colour with a white creamy head. Toasted grain and hops with citrus notes are present. Slightly metallic scent too. First sip is smooth and also metallic tasting. The flavour isn't watery but almost ????oily? It seems to coat the tongue and leaves you till the end where it finishes with that metallic flavour again with a slight bitterness. Average ale.

Honey amber colour body with a thick white head. Slight malty aroma of caramel. Flat carbonation, milky texture and not much else.

malt and flowery hops on the nose. amber colouration with thick creamy head and excellent lacework. pale malt and floral/fruity hops with lingering bitterness. served a little too cold leading to loss of body and flavour but it got better as it warmed.

Orange-brown. A bit fruity aroma with tones of cellar and wet blanket. A bit malty. Hoppy flavor with toffee tones and soapy hops. A bit sweet with firm bitterness.

Quite coppery and peculiar going down. A few pears thrown in. was rich and felt thick. Had it at a great little pub in melbourne: The elephant and wheelbarrow before going to see Live play and drinking the worst tasting heinekins you will ever find.
