Commercial Description:
This special German-style ale is still made faithfully in Dusseldorf, just down the road from Cologne. Our interpretation is light brown in color and cleanly malty, with a crisp hoppy bitterness in the finish. Brewed with organic Pilsner and Munich malt; Chocolate and wheat malt, and imported Spalt hops. 5.6% ABV, 45 BU

Very dark Red/brown with light off white head. Malty and slightly fruity aroma. FLavor is nicely smooth and malty with hints of fruit and chocolate malts. Touch of bitterness and very crisp in the finish.

Gorgeous dark reddish-brown colour. Chewy caramel-toffee malts on the nose. Caramel to the fore, with plums and brown sugar through the middle. Hops appear as a hint of dryness (45 IBUs).
