They had a beer on tap called Uber brown, and I ’ve had the Hunker Down and this was a bit different, so I am listing it here. On tap at the tap room in Hood River. This beer was a bit husky with a strong aroma of cooked grains and nuts. Some chewy toffee and caramel maltiness, but really quite thin and lacking. Muddy.

On tap at Double Mountain tap room in Hood River, Oregon--Poured a deep brown-black body with a bouncy, rocky off-white head. Nutty, earthy, and floral. Pretty hoppy for a brown. A little thin in the finish, but a nice presentation. Crisp and grainy, just a tad thin. Good brew, though.

Malty, slughtly astringent and chalky chocolate malt flavors, slightly roasty, a little nutty. Palate is too thin and not rich enough. Crisp finish.

Murky chestnut. Not much aroma - vague nuts and grain. Toffee chewiness overtop of nuttiness with a grainy, slightly astringent finish.
