DA (2484), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Jul 22, 2008 On tap at Belmont Station Puckerfest. Pours red, hazy, with a soft pink head. Tart cherry nose, fresh and juicy. Flavor us really top notch, delicious blend of tart fruits, yeast esters, with a sour and lightly funky finish. You can taste that the beer is strong, but doesn’t show any booziness. I hope there are a few more kegs of this stashed, I would love to try this again in another year. Angeloregon (2008), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 22, 2008 On tap at Puckerfest at Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon--A rich, rich red-magenta head with a lush pink top. Sweet, tart, sour and delicious. Full bodied and as good as anything I’ve had from Cantillon. 11026 (1886), USA Dec 28, 2007 Complete memory rating. Reddish pink colored with a vicious pink hued head. Aroma has barny funk mixed with tasty cherries. Medium bodied, well carbonated. Cherry tartness, horsey barness, blended in harmony. This has suprising qualities when this was only brewed/blended about six months prior. Brett qualities abound in taste and aroma, cherry is prevalent and pleasant. Well done, please repeat. Funkalicious.... SamuraiArtist (292), portland, Oregon, USA Dec 2, 2007 From a bottle courtesty of Charlie:
Pours pink and slightly hazy without much of a head. Aroma is quite sour and full of cherry as well as some fresh grain aroma. Flavor is moderate sourness with a nice wheaty fresh flavor throughout. Dry finish with a light body. I am going to re-rate this on the next release. It’s not finished yet. Indiana_Red (1470), Boise, Idaho, USA Nov 21, 2007 Deep dark red with full light pink head. Not very sour/ candyish nose. Tart like a kriek but ameicanized for lack of a better word. Moderate. The sweet cherrtes is appropriately soured and he trailer is a bready corn flake like flavor.
Tsaty and different form any other kriek Ive had.
