| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 6, 2009 tap at Henry’s in Portland, ruby/amber pour thin tan head, sweet aroma of malt with noticeable hop aroma, sticky malt/hop flavor with residual sweetness on palate, definitely "bigger" then any other red i’ve had! | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 5, 2009 Draft at Tapriver, City of The Dalles. I’ll take a straight-up IPA or an "ordinary" red over this. Red in color, woody in flavor. The citrus and malts didn’t quite go together for me and it came off as being a bit unbalanced. Not bad but I like their koelsch a lot more. Ungstrup (15250), Frederiksberg, Denmark

The aroma is sweet malty with hoppy notes of grass and light notes of flowers. The flavor is sweet malty with floral hoppy notes combined with notes of grapefruit. kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2007 Hazy amber colour. Slightly spicy caramel and brown sugar nose with a hint of hop herbaceousness. Very quaffable - heck, slightly watery - with a balanced Simcoe-toast-caramel character. Somehow I wish for more in this brew but that’s not to say I don’t like what’s there. troopie (884), USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 3, 2009 Draught. Poured iron ore red with thin white head, much lacing. Slight but pleasant aroma of hop, a little citrus a little pine. Medium hoppy flavour, somewhite like an IPA, but restrained. Thing hop finish. Perhaps it was two cold, perhaps it is me, perhaps this ale was trying to be a pale and an India Pale at the same time. mikebeertaster (96), vancouver, Washington, USA
