BeerFanDan17 (397), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Jul 30, 2008 Pretty standard for a Kolsh. Sampled at the taproom and brewery in Hood River, OR. Smooth and cerealy. BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA Jul 19, 2008 Pale golden coloring. Nose is quite grainy, light floral notes, but pretty malt dominant. Bready malt notes, but overally pretty light and tame. Not really distinctive, kind of falls under that catch all blonde ale, not really a kolsch in my opinion. It’s a tough style to brew and this one misses the mark. Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 15, 2008 Draft. A hazy yellow almost green beer with a thin of white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of citrus, while the flavor is sweet with very strong notes of citrus. The body is thin. BückDich (4559), Boise, Idaho, USA Nov 19, 2007 Tap: Hazy yellow, light husk and a grainy malt note, more dusty notes; malt and hop. Light finish, decent body. An ok kolsch with an up front malt note but nothing much in the fragrant hop or yeast department. Indiana_Red (1470), Boise, Idaho, USA Nov 17, 2007 Light hazy golden yelloe with a thin skin of a head. Light bready malt flavor and a surprisingly crisp bright bite. Sont finish.
