Commercial Description:
This light-bodied Kolsch displays a smooth malt note and a hint of fruit flavor in the finish. The Kolsch style has little hop flavor or aroma, letting the sweet malt taste prevail.

Draft at the brewery. Clear and the color of pale lemonade. Surprisingly strong aroma of nuts and occasional wet-dog earthy tones. Flavor is nutty with a bitter hop finish. Palate is light, very dry, and refreshing.

Not bad. Much better than the Alt. Light and relatively crisp. Some slight tingle from a light hopping.

Draft. Pale in the glass with a white head that left some light lacing. Very subdued aroma but almost a hay and hint of malt. Wheat in the flavor with light citrus. Light body.

Draught at brewery. Pours pale yellow, with a minimal white head. The aroma is faint, but there is a little hay present. The flavor is more full than I expected, very yeasty with some lemon and finishes biscuity.

That Kolsch flavor that I can’t describe. It had that bitter that I associate with the style. Not much aroma partly because of the guy beside me was smoking. This baby was a clear light gold. It was a nice crisp clean smooth drinker with a hint of sweet malt. It was just a tad watery at the end, but overall a pretty good brew.

About what you’d expect from a blonde beer. Light in color, body, and taste. Not bad though.

Clear pale straw with a quick white head. Slight crisp sweet aroma. Very light, grainy sweet flavors, but not much else. Kind of bland, with a light hoppy finish.
