Commercial Description:
This light-bodied Kolsch displays a smooth malt note and a hint of fruit flavor in the finish. The Kolsch style has little hop flavor or aroma, letting the sweet malt taste prevail.

Draft sampler at DGB. Every brew pub seems to need a light beer these days and this is it. Clear light amber color with small white head that was gone in a moment. Small sweet aroma. Light body and no texture. Small flavor with cold wet finish.

Draught. Pours a clear pale yellow. The aroma is faint, something like a cornfield at a great distance. Thin palate. There is some hoppiness, but it comes to a flat finish. Not bad for what it is. I’ve certainly had worse.

draught Yellow with noticeable carbonation, no real head. There isn’t much of an aroma to this one, some faint winey notes maybe. Feels and tastes watery going down, but actually has some hops in the aftertaste. There is not much going on here. This is however, a more enjoyable blonde than many.

Tap. Pours light pale yellow with a very small white head. Aromas of adjuncts particularly corn, some potato, and then malt and yeast. Flavors mirror the aroma plus a mild hop finish. Light and fizzy palate.

Draft at Downtown Grill & Brewery in Knoxville. This beer formed a small sized creamy and smooth white head with fine-small sized bubbles that mostly dissipated. The body was softly carbonated and transparent with a yellow-gold hue. The nose was malty and sweet with a malty and fruity flavor that had a lingering aftertaste. The mouthfeel was mostly smooth and this was a light bodied beer with good lacing on the sides of my glass.

TheDM and Hotstuff vacation brew 137. This draft brew was sampled at the Brew Pub in Knoxville Tennessee and served by an attentive staff that included the Owner, the bar manager, Daniel Goss, and the assistant brewer Joey Barbarito. This brew poured a had with fine to medium sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a trasnparent yellow orange colored uncarbonated body and a good lace . The aroma contained malty and musty notes while the mouthfeel was tingly and smooth except in the lingering Kolsch like bite in the finish. The flavor contained notes of fruit hops and malt.

Nice golden color but no head to speak of. Smells of malt and that's about it. Kind of light but not too much. Bitter flavor though. Not what I was expecting from a blonde ale, and also drier than anticipated. Wasn't too impressed with this.

Dark Yellow, no head. Subtle, spicy aroma. Drier and crisper than I had expected, and watery, fruity finish with just a bit of stale flavor.
