Maybe their best beer. Good malt characteristics, not overly hoppy. Brown, fair amount of head. Light/medium bodied.

Jun 8, 2008 on tap-pours a disappearing off white head and copper/red color. Aroma is hint of medium malt. Taste is medium malt/grain-some caramel, earthy/metallic hops bite.

Mar 21, 2008 This beer’s flavor was hidden amongst a bit of water. It has hints of nuttiness with slight hops in the finish. Very little lace in the glass upon finishing. Simple beer.

Aug 8, 2007 Draft at brewery. Clear dark brown-copper. Earthy, dry cocoa and spicy molasses aroma. Toasted nut initial flavor, with a dry cocoa and British yeast finish. Palate is light-medium, dry and astringent.
