Commercial Description:
A medium bodied refreshing Pale Ale made from the finest English barley and hops. Each sip evokes the feel of the time-honored British pub and a "pint of your best bitter". A pleasant hop balance at the beginning and a smooth dry finish make this ale a perfect accompaniment to your meal.

Draught. Pours a pale transparent gold. Faint floral bouquet in the nose. Some floral notes, but it somewhat resembles seawater with a bitter hop finish.

Tap. Citrus hop aroma with faint caramel malts seeping out. Pours light brown with an orange hue and a small white head; good lined lacing. Hoppy start with a creamy caramel malt body. Fizzy and medium bodied.

Clear amber color with light hoppy aroma. Quite bitter and hoppy with a full flavor. Very drinkable. Drank in Kansas after given as a gift 4 days earlier.

Light amber with no head to speak of. Mild fruity malt aromas. Flavors are slight with some tangy hops, but none of the watered-down qualities that some English bitters tend to have. Easy to drink, but nothing great.

Brilliantly clear headless copper color. Aroma of light malt. Well balanced and clean, but perhaps a little subdued on the hops. Good drinkable beer but not quite an ESB.

Mild hoppy aroma. Nice clear copper color with hardly any head. The aroma was fairly faint as well. Nice floral/hoppy taste. Pretty decent. Nothing to write home about but a fairly decent Pale Ale. Had on tap on January 23, 2004, at the brewery.

Orange/light amber in colour with a very thin white head. Decent hoppy aroma with a slight english malt smell. Medium to Light-bodied; Subtle english hop flavour with a well-balanced maltiness. Aftertaste shows a decent english hop character. Overall, a decent beer, nothing special though. I had this on draught at the brewpub in Knoxville, Tennessee on 27-September-2003.

Orange to copper colored. Huge tan head that settles down to thinner, but persistant level. Earthy/citrusy odor. Starts out citrusy, then an earthy, resiny hop flavor. Finishes tart, with a long, mouth coating aftertaste. This would wreck your palate if drank a lot of it.
