Slight citrus aroma gives way to the finish that drags its nails as it goes down the throat. Not bad, and with the porter it is their best offering. dolemite77 (184), Maryville, Tennessee, USA

Pleasant citrus aroma with a hint a sweet malt to it. Mouthfeel is nice. Flavor is a pleasant hoppy taste. Citrus is very apparent, with a nice sweet caramel touch to it. Finish has a pine taste to it. A nice brewpub IPA. TURDFERGUSON (1608), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA

Very light on the hops and a decent malt backbone. Easy drinking with alcohol well hidden but not my favorite type of ipa. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 29, 2007 Tasted on tap at brewery. This IPA pours a medium orange color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is orange and citrus. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Nice balance. Good carbonation. More in the English style of an IPA. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. nearbeer (1882), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

Tastes of caramel apple finished with bitter, grassy herbs. Light-medium body and round with no sharp imbalances. aracauna (2423), Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 27, 2007 A bit on the mellow side for an IPA, but a nice hoppy pale ale is pretty much what this was. I liked the White Mule better.
