Commercial Description:
A full-bodied, traditional IPA, well balanced with a healthy dose of English hops. Reminiscent of "historical" Knoxville IPA’s.

Draught at brewery. My favorite of the sampler I got, due to the actual aroma of hops, the nice reddish amber pour, and the unabashed hop flavor that they were able to successfully balance with the maltiness.

On tap at the Downtown Grill. Poured golden, citrus, floral nose. Flavor was citrusy, malty, and the finish nicely hoppy.

A nice amber pour without much lacing. A nice malt character wtih a damn nice hop bitter as well. A smooth palate not lacking fullness but just a tad fizzy for my taste. I will drink 3 the next time I’m there.

Quite hoppy and good. No head hardly. It was a good start of the night. The flavor fills the mouth and seems a little abrasive and thick. i mean to say its not watery, and not in a bad way, its just perhaps a step too far. I enjoyed it quite a bit, despite my seemingly harsh words.

This amber headless beer had the standard hoppy/sweet IPA aroma as expected. The taste was standard as well. While it was not really spectacular, it wasn’t that bad either. Pretty middle of the road, but a hell of a lot better than some macrobrews that say that they are an IPA.

If you like IPAs you’ll like this beer. Hoppy as hell and strong to boot. Great hop aroma and taste.
