Dec 27, 2007 Growler. Poured a clear, golden color with a medium white head. Strong lacing. Pleasant citrus aroma with a hint a sweet malt to it. Mouthfeel is nice. Flavor is a pleasant hoppy taste. Citrus is very apparent, with a nice sweet caramel touch to it. Finish has a pine taste to it. A nice brewpub IPA.

Oct 3, 2003 Amber colour with ruby (wierd, huh!?) highlights and a thin off-white head. Decent hoppy aroma with a bit of a malt kick. Medium-bodied; Great hoppy flavour with a good malt balance. Aftertaste shows some hoppy flavour with a bit of alcohol. Overall, an actually pretty good IPA! I had this on draught at the brewpub in Knoxville, Tennessee on 27-September-2003.

Aug 16, 2008 On tap. Golden amber with a smallish head. Earthy and spicy hop aroma, some citrus and some malt also. Nice flavor, slight bitterness.

Jan 1, 2004 The brewer at Downtown is formerly one of the original 'beer guys' with the (RIP) New Knoxville Brewing Co. Tweaking the old New Knox IPA recipe here and there created this very acceptable IPA. Worth a try if you're in Knoxville. Good food too.

Mar 24, 2009 Courtesy of lithy. Pours copper with a white head. Smells of citrus, caramel, yeasty. Tastes earthy, toasty, bitter and resiny with an earthy peppery finish.
