This amber colored ale is aggressively hopped throughout with heavy additions of five different hop varieties to give a bold and aromatic flavor with hints of grapefruit that maintains asurprising balance from the beginning all the way through to the ever lingering finish.

Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. Grassy aroma, biting bitterness. Easy drinking, could be a good session brew.

Reddish amber body with minimal head. Aroma is caramel and some light grapefruit. Simple slightly sweet and somewhat underwhelming bitteness.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear dark orange color. Head was thin and off white. Aroma and flavor of biscuity malt and light flowery hops accented by mild hop bitterness. Pretty standard.

Pours amber red color with offwhite head. Aroma is a bit malty with slight earthy hops. Flavor is pretty bitter and abrasive and not well balanced at all. Overall, not too good.

Draft. Rich reddish-amber beer with an off-white head. Rich caramel flavor with lots of bittering hops. Some astringency. Lower hop aroma than expected. This one seemed to have too much bittering hops and no where near enough flavor hops.

On tap at the brewpub in Napa. Decent, average brewpub bitter. Medium orange appearance, light white head. Subtle bitterness, but comes across as slightly stinging. Some citrusy notes in the back end. Average mouthfeel.
