Nov 16, 2009 12 ounce bottle from the brewery. Pours a hazy red color with a moderate offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel and banana, with some other fruity notes. Almost like fruit punch. Taste is caramel, cherries, banana and very, very subtle earthy notes. Again, much like fruit punch. Zero bitterness. Thin bodied. Not really very good at all.

Oct 17, 2009 On tap @ Brewpub-hazy amber pour w/an off white head. Slight bread dough aroma. Another average to poor Shenandoah brew, bitter, flat hop flavor, no real malt or caramel flavor to it...just sad. These beers have potential, just don’t deliver due to how they are poured @ the brewpub.

Aug 8, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in trade with kmweaver (thanks!). Poured a medium and slightly hazy orange color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of grains, some caramel, and a little earthy. Tastes of grains, caramel, lighter earth, and chocolate. Thinner body.

Jul 4, 2008 Bottle courtesy of kmweaver. Thanks Ken! Amber pour with a tall off-white head. Nose is malt, soft caramel, some grain and cereal, and light fruit notes. Taste is more cereal and sweet malts with fruit and caramel. Body is light-medium and very carbonated. Finishes with more grains, fresh sliced fruit, cereal and sweet malt. Touches of caramel as well. Not too bad!

Apr 14, 2008 Very thin and watery, a smooth velvet texture, but not much flavor behind it. Lightly malty and very lightly hopped, just not a lot going on here.

Mar 3, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, golden-orange color; thin off-white head with patchy lacing. Weak, watery aroma, showing wet malts and maybe a touch of apple or red fruit; very bland. Watery, light-to-medium mouthfeel: toasty malts, red fruits, and not much else: watery, insipid red ale. Light finish, showing wet malts, tea, and a touch of fruitiness.

Jan 25, 2008 Draft at Dremo’s. Poured out a hazy orangish color, with a soapy off white head. Aromas are of used tea bags, some caramel, not much else. Flavors are no better than the aromas. This is one of the few beers I sent back to the bar.

Jun 29, 2007 Bottle; poured an orange color with large, frothy white head. Aroma was very soapy and some roasted malt. Better flavor with some roasted malt, chocolate, some peat like earthiness, with no hops. Enjoyed the flavor, too bad the aroma was really bad
