| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 5, 2004 (bottled from a growler courtesy of egajdzis) Healthy beige foam atop a clear amber body, leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, strong floral, plus orange and grapefruit, caramel. Taste is dominated by the hops -- pine, orange, grapefruit, floral, even some spicy hops, but backed by caramel and medium sweetness. Creamy medium-full body. An excellent beer, thanks for sharing Eric! And Troegs/Drafting Room: start bottling -- if you sell it, they will come! Jaysus (17), Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA

Nice gold-orangeish hue, with a plesant floral/fruity aroma. The Beautifully rigd malt prescense seemed to compliment well with the seemingly neverending hop prescence... this brew left me thristing for more. Perhaps I will stop by and get another growler while i still can. michael-pollack (2753), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 2, 2004 Draught: Smelled sweet, floral, and hoppy. Perhaps a little grapefruit? Nice golden/orange color, with a lasting creamy white head and a good lacing. Tasted floral, bitter, and hoppy. Possibly some citrus, again, grapefruit? Strong, memorable flavor. Very easy to drink. Not as dry a finish as I might like. Overall, congrats to Patrick & the rest of the Drafting Room crew on a great brew. I only hope it reappears. jeffc666 (1898), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jun 29, 2004 Bottled from a growler by egajdzis thanks so much for this treat! Pours a nice clear amber with a very nice rocky off-white head. Glass-lacing is outstanding, especially considering this is a beer bottled from a growler. The aroma is a massive piney hop kick with some sweet malts lurking in the background. The hops are not nearly as dominsate as the aroms would lead youto believe, however the flavors are awesome and work amazingly well together. Medium bitterness is balanced by light sweetness and a good amount of pine and citrus. Medium bodied and just fells wonderful on the palate. This is truly a remarkable brew. The best Troeg’s brew I have yet had. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 29, 2004 Pours dark straw with nice head and lace. Aroma of big hops, malt, citrus. Tastes very hoppy, with malt, citrus, and slight fruit, spicy, and piney hints at the finish. Very complex, well balanced, and drinkable. I stack this one right up there with the Sly Fox IPAs as local standouts this year, and among the best IPAs I’ve ever had. BrianO (138), Ambler, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 24, 2004 Clear golden with frothy, creamy head. Aroma is all hops and all piney. Quite nice. Flavor is somewhat balance and spicy with a bitter finish. Medium bodied with nice lively mouthfeel. Reminds me of the hopback amber. egajdzis (3645), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jun 21, 2004 Updated: Feb 2, 2006Poured a copper color with a small off white head and beautiful lacing on the glass. Piney aroma of citrus hops. Sweet and spicy taste, followed by a sweet citrus fruit malt taste. Nice bitter hop finish. Very nice creamy mouthfeel, although the brewer had told me this should have less body than the Nugget Nectar. There was alot of good stuff going on here. The other hops were Simcoe, Amarillo, and Nugget.
