| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 19, 2008 Bottle. Not bad for an over production export stout. Pours a dark black body with small tan head. Aroma is sweet syrupy, chocolate, sweet corn and caramel. A bit syrupy with a dry finish, easy drinking and 7.5%. it could work. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 14, 2008 It’s very black and the head is small, somewhat brown. Nose is chocolatey, quite sweet. Flavour is very sweet, with chocolatey tang and roasted malt. It’s okay, but I’ve had better stouts.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 4, 2008 Bottle. Pours a coal black with a slight brown head. Nose is chocolate, and you can already detect the sweetness. Flavor is almost sugary, with some chocolate and roasted malt, medium fruit undertones. Decent session brew for a high gravity stout, but not a killer. saxo (3681), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 25, 2008 Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are mild roast malt and not much else. bhensonb (4392), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 21, 2008 284 ml bottle from an off-license near Archway in London; BBE Jul 09. Sweet roasted/toasted malt. Black/brown color with a good tan head. Thin to medium body with slightly fizzy carbonation. Flavor is rather sweet toasted malt, but not sticky. Some hop does appear, which renders it quite drinkable. dmac (1507), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 21, 2008 284 ml bottle from Oak Tree. Pours with a medium to htin black body and a large fizzy beige head. Aroma on this one makes you say meh.... Smells overly sweet, dusty chocolate notes, slight black olive, corn syrup and alcohol. Medium to thin bodied with obvious carbonation. Flavor is like a chep Porter and a few packets of Nutra Sweet, yuck. I’m shocked to think I used to love this stuff many many years ago. I guess if your sitting on the beaches of Jamaica this would be acceptable be as a stout but if the sun isn’t beating down on your head and you can’t see a single hottie in a bikini then this thing is just plain wrong. speedywinger (27), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 17, 2008 Deep red color with dark darkish beige head. Aroma is sweet malts. Flavor is sweet, sweet, sweet and some sugar with a maple syrup finish. Minor complexities, but far too sweet for my liking. Sweet is good if there are hops to balance everything out... unfortunately i found none in this beer. Disappointing for a stout.
