Pours almost black but reddish tint when help up to the light. Thin and runny-looking. Cane syrup smell, including some apples, rum, candy. Smooth and thin but nice palate. Clean, sweetish, simple.

284 ml bottle via trade with DragonStout. How fitting. Pours a clear dark brown color with a one finger thick tan head. Faint lacing. Aroma is a very light roasted malt and light esters. Flavor is candy sweet malt. Kinda odd. Medium body. A decent beer. Thanks Brian.

bottle. pours nearly black with a small tan head that disappears in a few minutes. smells of licorice, smoked woods, and alcohol. lots of character in the taste with notes of brown sugar, maple syrup, marshmallow, and oak. has nice roasty bitter finish with a bit of an alcohol burn. if you can get past the smell it is pretty decent.

bottle by way of dragonstout.... pours a transparent near black brown with a huge tan head that leaves great lace work. there are some reddish/pink highlights in that foam??? chocolate candy like aroma with metallic roasty notes and a light alcohol bite. chocolate candy follows into the sticky flavor and is met with cola, light roast ashiness and some weird overly sweet fruit. sweet ’fake’ finish with alcohol showing up to the party. the flavor is more akin to a really bad wine than to beer???? medium body with huge harsh bubbles

bottle. a good stout. only two things I don’t like about this beer. one, it has a very strong alcohol smell(a bit over powering) and two it leaves a burnt feel in the front of my mouth. other than that this beer is very good. great lacing in the glass. malt and caramel for sure.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with this but I like Red Stripe and some good things were said about this so tried it. A nice surprise, a very mellow stout. Poured with a nice off white head that lingered lightly through to the end. Pretty dark-almost black. Not really bitter at all. Rather smooth, nice malt feel on the pallet, tinge of sweet but not over done. Bit of a caramel finish. Very easy to drink and no real Alc. taste, maybe not enough Stout power for those who like more umf!

I was really impressed by this beer. It had a nice smooth yet sweet taste. Dark brown color with a nice thick tan head. Caramel and malt flavor with just a hint of coffee and wood. I would recommend this to any stout lover... it’s well worth a try.
